Byron Riddle began his marketing career working for a Budweiser distributor in Hawaii while attending the University of Hawaii at Manoa. He then went on to become a salesperson at the daughter company in the wholesale wine and spirits industry, all before graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Studies in 1989. While working with a division of Yellow Pages, he consulted with many customers to help design and write their advertising campaigns. Byron then seized an opportunity to step onto the leading edge of the emerging large format digital scanning and print market. During the early days of Covid with many uncertainties in the marketplace, he began to explore the PPE industry. He now has over 30 years of experience in the sales, marketing, and promotion of a wide range of products.
Before joining MPC-Global Solutions as the Executive Vice-President of Sales in late 2020, Mr. Riddle served in executive and top management positions, with P&L responsibilities in several leading companies in the large format digital and print markets in Hawaii, and has assembled, trained, and motivated sales teams for those organizations. A proven innovator, he elevated customer service and production protocols while spearheading many highly lucrative sales and marketing campaigns, which enhanced those companies’ market shares. During this time, Byron made numerous valuable contacts in the hospitality, construction, advertising, airline, and healthcare industries. Those contacts came into play shortly after the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, when he expanded his company’s reach into a completely new market by landing its first, large PPE contract with a regional hospital supply network that procures medical supplies and PPE for several hospitals on the Islands.
Mr. Riddle’s responsibilities will include sales, marketing, and he will be assisting in logistics activities at MPC-Global Solutions.
